The Perfect Pokémon Legends: Z-A Mega Evolution According to the Zodiac Sign

Given numerous of the Mega Evolutions boasting unique designs that emphasize their personalities, one thought came to mind: What's the best way to connect this with astrology? The following is based on a blend of vibes, common zodiac traits, and personal experience.

Aries – Super Camerupt

To be truthful, Houndour's evolution was nearly selected for this fire sign, as both are the Super Form and astrological sign that inspire the greatest apprehension. Look at this total queen. It's impossible to convince me this Pokémon is not the life of every party, offering an endless fountain of gossip to anyone who wish to hear. Much like an enrapturing, gregarious Twins, it's incredibly simple to imagine Mega Medicham mesmerizing an entire open area with their stories. Medicham’s Pokédex entry also states its ability to predict an opponent's future actions, which sounds quite similar to a socially-savvy Gemini.

Cancer – Mega Manectric

The Crab is widely considered as the most sensitive member of the astrological wheel, a passionate symbol famous for often getting absorbed in their emotions. Per the Pokédex, Super Evolution charges the Pokémon with a “tremendous quantity of energy, but it's excessive for this Pokémon to fully manage,” which seems a lot like a typical Cancer emotional outburst. This Pokémon is also recognized for its capability to create a storm cloud over its own self – and if there’s a single trait a Cancer is likely to do, it’s rain on their own parade.

Leo – Super Starmie

Oh, did you assume I was planning to pick Pyroar for the lion of the zodiac? Aside from the fact that it would be much too on the nose, The Lion is obviously Super Starmie, the star whose legs just went viral for being extremely glamorous (or horrifying, depending on your preference). Fans couldn’t look away from the violet starfish, and that’s precisely the identical energy a Lion brings to the table. This Pokémon is also said to be transmitting signals from its red core out into space, and it’s typical of a Lion to be staging a performance, albeit for extraterrestrials.

Virgo – Mega Victreebel

The always-ready and perpetually-anxious Virgo is ideally encapsulated in Mega Victreebel, the Super Form with perpetual digestive issues. The zodiac symbol known for being charmingly critical is strongly mirrored across this creature's whole lineage, from a perpetually shocked expression like a Maiden when you inform them you don’t have a retirement plan, to its upside-down visage that’s just like the emoji a Maiden posts to the group chat when everyone says they want to “go with the flow” instead of creating a strategy.

The Scales – Mega Audino

Look at this sweet, empathetic being, who employs the sensors on its ears to tell how people are emotionally by their pulse. Always compassionate – sometimes to a fault – and striving to keep the peace, there are numerous Libras who would likely benefit from Super Audino's abilities. However, to be frank, it would probably just cause them to stress even more about everyone else.

The Scorpion – Mega Banette

Banette is a creature with a unexpectedly tragic origin: Discarded as a doll, it gained sentient through pure hatred and swore retribution on its former owner. Being a Sagittarius personally, the number of times I’ve referred to myself some version of a “playful little jester” is countless. The showiest and most attention-seeking Super Form, its Pokédex entry even notes how it “poses to show off its strength.” I would do the exact same thing if I had a Mega evolved form, making Super Hawlucha the most fitting Archer match I can think of.

Capricorn – Mega Absol

Did you know that a Mega Absol has the power to predict disasters in advance? That exudes the exact same vibe as a Capricorn, who tends to consistently believe they’re right. Interestingly, much like a visionary Mega Absol, they often are. It’s also the absolute initial Super Form that players meet in Legends: Z-A – typical of a Capricorn to get in on the ground floor of the Mega trend.

The Water Bearer – Super Chandelure

Detached element Aquarius is possibly the non-flame placement that is most like a flame symbol – its sister sign is Leo, and there are countless memes about Sagittarius and Aquarius being unpredictable accomplices.
